Life Legacy
Diane M. Fernandes, 50, Branche Rd., passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012 at her residence under the care of her family & Hospice of Jefferson County.
She was born in Watertown, February 2, 1962, a daughter of Charles R. and Beulah O'Connor Fernandes. After graduating high school, she attended Jefferson Community College and received an associate's degree.
Diane worked as a assistant bakery manager at Price Chopper, Watertown, for over 15 years. She enjoyed baking, crafts, scrapbooking, collecting frog figurines, and using her computer.
Surviving besides her parents are 2 daughters, Trisha Fernandes, Watertown, Sarah Parker, Watertown; a son, Brian Parker, Watertown; 2 brothers, Charles (Jane) Fernandes, Adams, Thomas (Barb) Fernandes, Prospect; and 2 sisters, Ruth Allen, Oklahoma, Cathy Nuffer, Castorland.
The funeral service will be Friday, August 3, 12:30 pm at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Father Steven Murray officiating. Calling hours will precede the service from 11-12:30. Burial will follow the service in St. Cecilia's Cemetery, Town of Henderson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Hospice of Jefferson County, 425 Washington Street, Watertown, New York 13601.
